Its tasks are, inter alia, regulation of agriculture markets and implementation of EU regulations, provisions of credits, improvement of marketing procedures, etc. Its organs are the president and the board of directors; the latter is composed of 28 members. Article 6 indicates the powers and responsibilities of this body. Finally, it deals with the statute of the Institute, its budget and staff, the election of board members. The Act consists of 16 articles.
