This article establishes that additional investment subsidies shall be available for the construction and modification of private and small-scale photovoltaic systems and energy storage. To article 14 a paragraph 8 and 9 is added specifying that new biogas plants shall still be eligible for benefits under the new supporting regime. However, stricter rules regarding the efficiency and materials used shall apply from January 1 2018.
