In particular, the Act amends, inter alia, the table of contents; article 4 concerning definition of terms, such as «animal shelter», «animal board», «animal asylum»; article 16 establishing that bovines are to be provided with adequate movements or suitable outlets or grazing at least 90 days per year provided that this does not preclude legal or technical grounds which are listed in this article; article 23 concerning authorization to keep animals on behalf of authorities; article 29 on animal shelters, animal pensions and animal asylum; article 31 dealing with keeping animals for commercial purposes or for breeding or sale; an article 31a is added on Recording, transmission and mediation of animals; article 41 on Animal Protection Ombudsperson; article 42 on Animal Protection Council.
