A person may at any time take or catch a dugong within the Area by the traditional hand-harpoon method from a canoe, whether powered by out-board engine or otherwise. Article 3 places certain requirements on nets to be used for hunting. A dugong taken or caught within the Area and offered for sale shall be inspected Wildlife Officer or a member of the Maza Wildlife Management Committee.
