Abstract

These Regulations concern equivalents of scientific names of animals covered by the Fauna Conservation Act. For the purposes of the Act, and of any statutory instrument made thereunder, the English name prescribed in the second column of the Schedule and the Setswana name or names set out in relation thereto in the third column of the Schedule shall be deemed to be the English or Setswana name or names, as the case may be, of the animal whose Latin or scientific name appears as set out in relation thereto in the first column of the Schedule.
