Abstract

This Order concerns the approval of export quarantine stations for animals and provides rules for the movement of animals from and to quarantine stations and the handling of animals in quarantine stations. Export quarantine stations shall be approved by the Minister and use of such stations must be authorized by the Minister. An authorization shall be subject to such conditions and rules as the Minister may think fit to impose. Movement into a quarantine station requires a permit of the Minister, whereas movement out of a quarantine station requires a permit of the Veterinary Officer or the supervising veterinary surgeon.
