Abstract

The present Act applies to the handling and transport of, as well as the import of solid or liquid substances and preparations (substances) that can be brought by a non-exceptional thermal, mechanical or other use to explosion (explosive substances). The text consists of 53 articles divided into 10 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Handling and transport in the commercial sector; Import, transit and record-keeping (II); Conservation (III); Responsible persons and their duties (IV); Handling and transport in the non-commercial sector (V); Monitoring of handling and transport (VI); Other provisions (VII); Provisions on penalties and fines (VIII); Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (IX); Transitional and final provisions (X). Four Annexes are enclosed.
