Abstract

The present Ordinance implements, inter alia, the Mineral Raw Material Act (BGBl. I No. 38/1999). The Ordinance lays down provisions relating to the equipment and protective systems for designated use in potentially explosive atmosphere. Article 4 establishes that products may only be placed on the market and put into service, if they comply with appropriate installations and maintenance instructions of the present Ordinance. The text consists of 34 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Obligations of economic operators (2); Conformity of the product (3); Conformity assessment (4); Monitoring by the Union Market, control of products entering the Union, safeguard procedures (5); Transitional and final provisions (6). Ten Annexes are enclosed.
