It consists of 48 sections and is divided into five Parts. Part 2 contains provision on: duties upon discovery of exotic disease; infected premise; restricted area; standstill zone; control area: inspectors and powers of inspectors. Part 3 deals with compensation and related matters and establishes the exotic disease expense and compensation fund. Part 4 contains general provisions, among others on offences and penalties and liability.
