Abstract

These Regulations amend the Examination of Varieties of Vegetable Species Regulations by replacing Schedules I and II. Schedule I lists the genera and species for which Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) guidelines apply. The CPVO was established by Council Regulation (EC) No. 2100/94 on Community plant variety rights. Schedule II lists the genera and species for which the International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants (UPOV) guidelines apply.
