The amendments of the Waste Management Act, 1996 concern specified applications for a waste licence and the relevant environmental impact assessment and valuation by the Environmental Protection Agency. The amendment of the Planning and Development Act 2000 concerns observations on the environmental impact statement by local authorities and consultations with the Environmental Protection Agency in relation to any environmental impacts of the proposed activity to which the application for a licence under section 42(II) of the Act of 1996 relates.
