Abstract

These Regulations, which give effect to Council Directive 93/113/EC, introduce controls on the marketing and use of enzymes, micro-organisms and their preparations in animal nutrition. Only those products containing enzymes and micro-organisms, which are set out in the Schedule to these Regulations, may be marketed and used in animal feeding stuffs. In addition, the labelling particulars applicable to such products, and to premixtures and compound feeding stuffs containing such products, are set out in the Regulations.
