Abstract

These Regulations implement restrictions on imports from the United Kingdom of certain animals and animal products in accordance with Commission Decisions of 21 and 27 February 2001 concerning certain protection measures with regard to foot-and-mouth disease in the United Kingdom. The Order restricts the importation for the United Kingdom of live animals, meat and other animal products including milk, skins and hide, and embryos, semen and ova of animals of the bovine, ovine, caprine or porcine species or other biungulates.
