They prescribe that a person shall not hold or keep a goat on a holding unless he or she and the holding are registered for the purposes of Article 7 of the EC Regulation. Restrictions are placed on movement and possession on unregistered goats and goats without eartags with a goat identification number and a movement document. Offences and penalties are prescribed.
