Abstract

These Regulations prescribe classification, packaging and labelling conditions which must be complied with in relation to the placing on the market of pesticides, and specify the terms under which clearance for placing on the market is granted, in accordance with Council Directive 78/631/EEC and amending Directives. With respect to the Regulations here revoked and consolidated, they expand the definition of the term "pesticides" as prescribed in the Directives here implemented; and introduce a revised scale of fees for the approval of documentation submitted in support of applications for clearance to market pesticides.
