A new section (53B) is added to the Act so as to provide for such simplified procedures. A person may avail of the simplified procedures in respect of the export or re-export of a particular species only if the person is registered in the register (established under these Regulations) in respect of the species. A person may apply to the management authority to be the subject of an entry in the register in respect of a particular species. The Regulations set out criteria and procedures for registration.
