This Directive repeals and replaces Council Directive 77/504/EEC. A reference in the principal Regulations or in an instrument issued under those Regulations to an act of the institutions of the European Communities which is repealed is to be read in accordance with the correlation table in Annex II to the Council Directive 2009/157/EC.
