The levy is imposed on peaches and nectarines destined for export and/or import and/or domestic fresh consumption and shall be paid by: (registered) peach and nectarine exporters, retailers on behalf of the producer from which such peaches and nectarines have been procured or municipal markets on behalf of the producer from which such peaches and nectarines have been procured.
