Abstract

The present Ordinance is made under the Animal Disease Act in its version of 28 March 1980. In particular, the Ordinance lays dwon provisions relating to safety measure for personnel handling epizootic pathogens. Article 2 establishes that whoever works with such pathogens is in need of a permit. The text consists of 11 articles as follows: Definition of terms (1); Permit (2); Work without permit, acquire or release (3); Refusal of permit (4); Duty to notify on behalf of permit holder (5); Activities subject to notification (6); Ban of activities, restrictions (7); Distribution of pathogens (8); Records (9); Penalties (10); Entry into force (11).
