Article 8 empowers the Minister to order slaughtering of diseased animals. Other measures to prevent the spreading of epizootic lymphangitis include a veterinary inquiry, isolation of animals, restrictions on the movement of animals, disposal of carcases, disinfection and cleansing and examination of animals.
