The policy here set out shall be achieved by: providing a framework for identifying values for Queensland waters; establishing water quality guidelines and objectives for those waters and carry and other objectives set out in article 6. Article 7 sets out basic aims of environment protection including biological integrity of the water ecosystem. Part 4 sets out management goals for waters, whereas Part 5 concerns the management of activities including impact monitoring and the monitoring of releases.
