It sets requirements for waste containers (sect. 6), for waste removal services (sect. 7) and for storage of industrial waste (sect. 13). It provides for the classification of industrial waste and prescribes the information that has to be provided to local governments by any person dealing with industrial waste. Part 3 applies to sanitary conveniences and nightsoil disposal. Requirements for different sanitary conveniences are set as well as management guidelines. Specifications are found in the annexed schedules, one on requirements for closets, one on requirements for pan cabinets and one on requirements for pans.
