Abstract This Regulation provides for the publication of notices, the payment of security into the Environmental Protection Security Fund, duration of certificates of qualification, approvals under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act, and prescribes regulatory offences. Section 4 provides for security for water drillers: where an holder of an approval under the Water Act and the Water (Ministerial) Regulation has deposited security, the Minister may return or direct the return of the security on the request of the approval holder after 2 years have elapsed from the expiry date of the approval. Where an approval holder contravenes a water management order under Division 2 of Part 7 of the Water Act or an enforcement order under Division 3 of Part 10 of that Act, the Minister may order that all or part of the security provided by the approval holder be forfeited.
