Abstract

This Order specifies the established activities which are required to have applied within a specified date to the Environmental Protection Agency for an integrated pollution control licence in accordance with section 82 of the Environmental Protection Agency Act, 1992. “Established activity" means an activity in respect of which a permission under Part IV of the Local Government (Planning and Development) Act, 1963 is granted prior to such day as may be prescribed by the Minister and includes slaughter of animals in installations where the daily capacity exceeds a given number and the manufacturing of sugar.
