They introduce new regulations on, among other things: procedural requirements regarding environmental information that a planning authority or the Scottish Ministers must take into account before granting an application for multi-stage consent. “Application for multi-stage consent” means an application for approval of reserved matters as defined by section 59 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997.
