Abstract

These Regulations amend the Environmental Impact Assessment (Agriculture) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 so as to: (a) define the “EIA Directive”; (b) apply the provisions of the Interpretation Act (Northern Ireland) 1954; and (c) clarify the role of the appointed person with regard to appeals against stop notices issued by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development.
