These Regulations amend the Environmental Impact Assessment (Agriculture) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007 so as to transpose Council Directive 214/52/EU amending Directive 2011/92/EU on the assessment of the effects of certain public and private projects on the environment. technical amendments concern, among other things, the minimum consultation period, reaching a conclusion on the likely significant effects on the environment of the significant project, a co-ordinated approach on environmental assessments in respect of a significant project, etc. A new regulation (9A) is inserted. This Regulation describes an environmental statement. Another new regulation (15a) concerns conclusions about the environmental impact by the Department.
