Abstract These Regulations lay down rules to prohibit the importation, manufacture and sale of expanded polystyrene food service products, prohibit the use or provision of expanded polystyrene food service products, and promote and encourage the use of biodegradable, recyclable and other environmentally friendly containers or packaging for food in return for expanded polystyrene products. These Regulations set forth offences and penalties in case of failure to comply with the provisions of these Regulations and the Environmental Health Services Act.
