Abstract

These Regulations prescribe pesticides (defined in regulation 2) to be a hazardous environmental contaminant for purposes of the Environmental Contaminants Act 1978 and regulate certain aspects of importation, placing on the market and use of pesticides. A permit to import, sell, manufacture or distribute a pesticide shall be in Form 2 of Schedule. The Minister may, from time to time, issue guidelines to be known as Pesticide Guidelines concerning the importation, sale, manufacture, distribution
