They also provide for enforcement. The legislation which creates such offence includes the Salmon and Freshwater Fisheries Act 1975, the Wildlife and Countryside Act, the Environmental Protection Act 1990, the Water Resources Act 1991, the Water Industry Act 1991, the Environment Act 1995, the Water Act 2003 and specified agricultural legislation.
