Abstract The Rules amend serial numbers 14, 53 and 72 and insert new serial numbers 97 and 98 to Schedule I of the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986. The Rules provide revised or new environmental standards for the pulp and paper industry; guidelines for the disposal of solid waste, drill cuttings and drilling fluids for offshore and onshore drilling operations; standards for boilers using agriculture waste as fuel; and guidelines for pollution control in ginning mills.
