Abstract

This Regulation is amending few articles of the Environment Protection (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulation 2014, including Article 4 with regard to impacts on vulnerable groups and consideration of gender issues; Article 6a with respect to process for environmental impact assessment; Article 6B on screening and development using the EIA Screening Checklist; and further amendments on Article 6c, 8, 11 and 12. Articles 12 A with regard to environmental management plan and Article 14A on internal review are added to the text. Part VII with regard to grievance redress mechanism comprising of two sections with respect to appeal by a proponent and complaint by affected person is added to the Regulation.
