These regulations shall come into operation on 12 June 2021.
Abstract

These regulations amend the 2001 Environmental Act, by deleting items 1 and 2 of the Ninth Schedule to the Ac and their corresponding entries and replacing them by two paragraphs related to offences for: depositing or dumping, or causing or allowing to be deposited or dumped, any household or commercial waste whether liquid or solid, in the nature, in any public place, canal, drain, lake, river, rivulet, reservoir, stream or watercourse; and littering or causing any litter to be dropped, thrown, discarded or leaving behind any odds and ends, bits of paper, wrappings, nappies, beverage containers, remains of fruit and any such other matter in the nature or on the street.
