Abstract

These Regulations amend the Environment Protection Act in the Fifth Schedule by replacing item 31 on modification of existing coastline such as beach reprofiling, coastal protection works and removal of basaltic and beach rock, except for urgent rehabilitation works as approved by the Minister after adverse weather conditions. The Fifth Schedule lists undertakings requiring a Preliminary Environmental Report.
