Abstract

This Act amends the Environment Protection Act 2002 with respect to a wide variety of matters including: the definition of "environmental law", the National Environmental Laboratory, the Multilateral Environmental Agreements Co-ordinating Committee, preliminary environmental reporting, the EIA Committee, the EIA/PER Monitoring Committee, response to a threat to the environment, standards for noise and regulation-making powers of the Minister.
