Abstract

The aim of this Act is to extend the application of the principal Act to that area of the Republic which constituted national territories of former states and self-governing entities; and to provide for matters connected therewith. These new areas comprise the national territory of the former Transkei, Bophuthatswana, Venda and Ciskei, and the areas in respect of which the former self-governing territories of Gazankulu, KaNgwane, KwaNdebele, KwaZulu, Lebowa and Qwaqwa were established.
