Abstract These Regulations, also for the purpose of transposing into the law of Gibraltar of Directive 2004/107/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council relating to arsenic, cadmium, mercury, nickel and polycyclic aromatic carbons in ambient air as amended by Council Regulation (EC) No 219/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2009, and Directive 2008/50/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 May 2008 on ambient air quality and cleaner air for Europe, are setting the provisions necessary for the implementation and compliance with topics regarding the air quality standards.
