Abstract These Regulations make an additional amendment to the Environmental Protection Act 1990 ("the 1990 Act") as a result of the coming into force of provisions of the Environment Act 1995 which repeal section 17 (powers of entry) of the 1990 Act. Regulation 2 amends subsection (3)(c) of section 140 of the 1990 Act, which confers power to make regulations, by substituting for the reference to section 17 of that Act, a reference to section 108 (powers of entry) of the Environment Act 1995.
