Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Electro-Mining Ordinance of 25 March 2003. The Ordinance applies to the construction and operation of electrical installations and electrical equipment in mining industries and mining facilities as defined in article 2 of the Federal Mining Act. The text consists of 41 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: Sphere of appplication and definition of terms (1); General provisions (II); Use of electrical facilities and electrical appliances in open-pit mining (III); Use of electrical facilities and electrical appliances in underground mining (IV); Final provisions (V).
