The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 July 2003.
Abstract

The present Ordinance implements the Federal Mining Act of 13 August 1980 (BGBl. I p. 1310). The Ordinance applies to the establishment and running of electrical facilities in mining enterprises controlled by the competent mining authority. The text consists of 41 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Sphere of application and definition of terms (I); General provisions (II); Use of electrical facilities and electrical appliances in open-pit mining (III); Use of electrical facilities and electrical appliances in underground mining (IV); Final provisions (V).
