Part 3 deals with the requirements for Licensing of Activities relating to Electricity. It specifies that no person shall engage in the: generation; transmission; or distribution of electricity, unless he is authorized to do so by an electricity licence granted under section 8 or is exempted under section 7. An application for electricity licensing, an extension or an exemption shall be: made in writing to the Authority and accompanied by the prescribed fee.
