Abstract

This Order, made under the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956, places restrictions on acquisition and disposal of unboiled waste foods, sets out precautions to be taken in the carriage, storage and handling of (unboiled) waste foods and the and prohibits the use of unboiled food for the feeding of animals. This Order shall not apply to any proprietary foodstuff containing any animal foodstuff, in respect of which the manufacturer thereof holds an effective certificate of exemption from the provisions of this Order granted by or on behalf of the Minister.
