Abstract

This Order amends the Diseases of Animals (Notification of Infectious Diseases) Order 1992 so as to extend the diseases to which movement conditions will be applied. The principal Order now applies the following rule to the disease Caseous Lymphadenitis: an diseased animal or animal carcase shall not be moved out of the premises or other land on which it happens to be on the date of the relevant notice given pursuant to Article 3 of the principal Order, unless it is accompanied by, and is moved in accordance with conditions specified in, a permit issued for its movement by a veterinary inspector.
