The Order amends the Diseases of Animals (Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order, 1990 by providing for postponement of consideration of applications for compensation in case of prosecution of offences and a deduction from the compensation where there is failure to take reasonable precautions to protect against the disease.
