Abstract

This Order amends the Diseases of Animals Act 1966 (Registration of Poultry Premises) Order 2008 in relation to biosecurity measures and the definition of premises. The biosecurity measures consist in maintaining records on a daily basis by the owner or person in charge of poultry regarding, among other things, mortalities that occur in the flock or on the premises, egg-production and purchases, sales and supplies of eggs used for breeding purposes.
