Abstract

This Order implements the provisions of Commission Decision 2001/172/EC (as amended) concerning certain protection measures with regard to foot-and-mouth disease in the United Kingdom. A person shall not import live animals, semen, animal products including milk or fresh or frozen meat of animals from or through any place in the United Kingdom, except that importation through the UK is allowed under certain specified conditions (certification, special treatment, etc.).
