Abstract

This Proclamation establishes a National Park which contains representative samples of features or scenery where plant and animal species, geomorphological sites and habitats are of special scientific, educational and recreational interest and which also contains one or several entire ecosystems that are not materially altered by human exploitation and occupation. The Park shall be managed in accordance with this Proclamation by the Diana‘s Peak National Park Management Authority. The Authority shall, among other things, retain and secure genetic diversity of threatened species.
