Abstract

These Regulations empower the authority or a contractor on order of the Authority to remove objects on a site that is subject to an enforcement notice in terms of the Development Planning Act. It may also carry out any of the other actions set out in regulation 4 relating to illegal operations. The Authority shall publish a notice of removal in the Gazette and local newspapers pursuant to regulation 7. Objects may be disposed of in accordance with regulation 8.Regulation 11 makes removal of clamps fixed by the Authority or the contractor an offence. ((11 regulations)
