In particular, the Regulation establishes a surcharge on the purchase of new tires, which is remitted to the Yukon government by retailers. Used tires can be dropped off at community waste disposal sites or at retailers permitted to accept used tires. The text consists of 11 sections and 1 Schedule setting out fees to be paid for all new tires sold in Yukon.
