Abstract

The present Ordinance enforces the Federal Mining Act of 13 August 1980 (BGBl. I p. 1310). In particular, the Ordinance is applicable to all mining premises subject to mining legislation exploring and extracting oil, gas, geothermal and other natural resources. The text consists of 104 articles divided into 14 Parts as follows: Sphere of application and definition of terms (1); General provisions (2); Drilling rig (3); Drilling operation (4); Production well (5): Extraction of salts through leaching (6); Storage and handling of flammable, highly or extremely flammable liquids in storage facilities with a total volume of less than 10 000 liters (7); Pipelines (8); Special protective measures (9).
